Today, you will explore Delhi’s rich tapestry of history and nature through its most celebrated gardens.
Your day begins with a visit to the sublime Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This pioneering garden-tomb, set within a classic char bagh (four-part garden), is a precursor to the Taj Mahal. Stroll through the adjacent Sundar Nursery, a restored 90-acre heritage park complex with magnificent monuments and botanical landscapes.
Afterwards, explore the picturesque Lodhi Garden, a sprawling park dotted with the tombs and architectural remnants of the 15th-century Sayyid and Lodi dynasties.
Post-lunch, visit the serene Raj Ghat, a simple yet powerful black marble platform set in a garden, marking the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi.
Your final stop is the contemporary Garden of Five Senses. Designed to engage all five senses, this space features themed gardens, striking sculptures, and vibrant floral displays, offering a modern contrast to the historical gardens of the morning.

Today is dedicated to the regal splendour of Rajasthan’s capital, exploring its formidable forts and exquisite gardens.
Your day begins at the magnificent Amber Fort, a sprawling complex perched on a hilltop. Explore its grand palaces, including the famous Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace).
Descend from the fort to discover the beautiful Sisodia Rani Garden, a tiered palace garden built by a maharaja for his queen. Adorned with fountains, watercourses, and painted pavilions, it is a serene retreat.
Next, visit Kanak Vrindavan Garden, a beautifully maintained temple garden situated in a lush valley at the foothills of the Aravalli range.
In the afternoon, visit the City Palace, the royal residence that showcases a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Your final stop is Jantar Mantar, a fascinating UNESCO-listed collection of ancient astronomical instruments.

After breakfast, embark on the scenic drive (approximately 5-6 hours) through the changing landscapes of Rajasthan to Jodhpur. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. The remainder of your day is at leisure.

Today, you will explore the grandeur of Jodhpur, from its soaring fort to its tranquil gardens.
Begin at the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, one of India’s most impressive forts, towering over the city. Explore its sprawling complex of palaces and museums.
Just below the fort lies the Jaswant Thada, a cluster of royal cenotaphs built from intricately carved, brilliantly white marble. Its serene gardens and peaceful lake make for a poignant visit.
In the afternoon, explore the historic Mandore Gardens, the ancient capital of Marwar. Here, you will find the royal cenotaphs of the Marwar rulers, set within beautiful gardens with rock terraces and water bodies.
Overnight in Jodhpur. (Breakfast)
After breakfast, begin your drive to Udaipur (approximately 6 hours). En route, stop at Ranakpur to marvel at the breathtaking Jain Temples. Renowned for their intricate and exquisite carvings from white marble, the main temple features 1,444 unique pillars.
Continue your journey to Udaipur. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a magical boat ride on Lake Pichola, offering stunning views of the City Palace, Jag Mandir, and the famed Lake Palace Hotel.

Today is dedicated to the romantic city of Udaipur.
Your exploration begins at the magnificent City Palace, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan, offering panoramic views of the lake.
Afterwards, visit Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of the Maidens), a beautiful garden adorned with fountains, kiosks, marble elephants, and a delightful lotus pool, built for the royal ladies.
Later, explore Gulab Bagh & Zoo, a vast old rose garden park housing hundreds of varieties of roses and rare plants. Conclude your day with a visit to Fateh Sagar Lake, where you can take an optional boat ride to the serene Nehru Garden.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Mumbai.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel to check in and relax.
In the evening, visit the Hanging Gardens & Kamla Nehru Park, terraced gardens perched on a hilltop overlooking the Arabian Sea and the iconic Marine Drive. Afterwards, experience the vibrant energy of Chowpatty Beach with a sunset walk and a taste of local street food.

Today, you will explore the colonial history and green oases of Mumbai.
Begin at the Gateway of India, the iconic arch monument built during the British Raj. From there, view the magnificent Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.
Next, behold the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (formerly Victoria Terminus), a stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site and a masterpiece of Victorian-Gothic architecture.
Your final stop is the Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Udyan, the city’s oldest zoo and botanical garden, known for its historic collection of rare trees and lush, tranquil atmosphere.

We are not seasoned international travellers. It took several days to feel comfortable in the tour due to the invasion of all our senses in Delhi and the Golden Triangle, but as we moved to the South, our comfort level increased significantly, and we began to really enjoy the tour, and we immersed ourselves in all activities. The hill country on Kerala is simply gorgeous and the people were gentle. Overall, thanks for an amazing tour, David.
