Welcome to India! Upon your arrival at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative and privately transferred to your hotel. The remainder of your day is at leisure to relax after your journey.

After breakfast, leave the city behind as you embark on the scenic drive (approximately 5-6 hours) to Ranthambore National Park. Upon arrival, check into your lodge, conveniently located near the park gates.
Ranthambore is not just a wildlife sanctuary; it’s a famous heritage site where the wild reigns supreme. The park’s landscape is dramatically punctuated by the picturesque ruins of ancient palaces and forts, creating a stunning backdrop for your wildlife adventure. It is one of the finest places in India to see the majestic Bengal tiger in the wild.

Your safari adventure begins at dawn. Embark on your first jeep safari as the jungle awakens. The cool, quiet morning air offers the best opportunity to spot a tiger on the move, as well as other residents like leopards, sloth bears, and a rich variety of birdlife.
Return to your lodge for breakfast and to relax. In the afternoon, venture back into the park for a second jeep safari. As the light softens, the forest takes on a different character, and your naturalist guide will work tirelessly to track the park’s most famous residents.

Maximize your chances of a breathtaking encounter with another full day dedicated to exploration. With each safari entering a different zone of the vast park, you will discover new landscapes—from dense forests and open grasslands to ancient step-wells and serene lakes.

Enjoy one final breakfast in the wild before beginning your drive back to Delhi (approximately 5-6 hours). Check into your hotel upon arrival, with the evening at leisure to reflect on your incredible wildlife encounters.

We are not seasoned international travellers. It took several days to feel comfortable in the tour due to the invasion of all our senses in Delhi and the Golden Triangle, but as we moved to the South, our comfort level increased significantly, and we began to really enjoy the tour, and we immersed ourselves in all activities. The hill country on Kerala is simply gorgeous and the people were gentle. Overall, thanks for an amazing tour, David.
